Awful charge and helpdesk

I used a prepaid SIM from Mobile Vikings from Oct 2020 - Sep 2023 when I worked in Belgium. I left for good since then and stopped using the SIM card on 28 Sep 2023. After almost 2 years, I received an email with a letter from a law firm, stating that I have a fine from Mobile Vikings (40 euro) that is long overdue, and if I don't pay the fine in 14 days, there will be serious legal actions against me. I wrote back and never get a reply. I contacted the helpdesk of Mobile Vikings, and got a reply that they cannot assist me since my case is already with the law firm. I asked if they can officially terminate my account, even though on the website, they stated that prepaid SIM will be terminated as long as we stop topping up. I don't want them to see me as their client and keep sending me a fine years later thinking that I use their service without paying. He never replies. It's ridiculous and horrible to be charged after I left a country for 2 years, and I have NEVER received any message, email or letter that I was continue being charged by Mobile Vikings. If I pay the fine this time, is Mobile Vikings going to repeat it, since they NEVER want to guarantee that everything will be settled as long as I pay this fine? Terrible and dirty!
