Charged £30000 but too stingy to connect additional socket as promised
The company installed over 40 radiators in April 2022, a value of around £30 000. There was additional work required (add extra socket powered from next room) on one of the biggest radiators by an external electric company worth a few hundred. Trust Electric Heating said that they will send an electrician and cover the bill. Today, 9 months later, in the middle of winter my main room still doesn't have a connected radiator as a few hundred was too expensive for the company to pay even though they promised to sort that out shortly. I called and sent many emails asking to resolve that. They did send electricians to look at the job and price it up, that is all. No one cared that my family with a baby is left in a cold house for Christmas and the entire winter. I asked the company to refund me this unconnected radiator as I purchased it to warm up the house and not to take up my wall space. It was ignored. I asked to put my testimony on their website, as they are so proud of them - but this also was ignored. I bought the electric radiators to have a hassle-free heating solution and to help save money, but I had to add extra sources, including burning more logs than I have ever done to keep the house warm. The radiators can get dangerously hot just to heat up 2 degrees of difference.
