It took them over 6 years to repair a leak on their main above my property. when we first reported it they said it was a natural spring. only when the land started to slip and my property had to be demolished did we find out it was their water main causing all the problems. There reaction to it was I will make money out of rebuilding it so do not owe me any compensation. We did say to them if they make a donation of 2k to lincs air ambulance we would say no more about it. there reply was; the only way they will pay anything is if I take them to court but they made it very clear if I attempted to do so they would drag it out as long as poss so I would have spend thousands in legal fees before any settlement is agreed. as they pointed out they are a big company and I am just the little man. This is mainly their insurance company but anglian water are no better. only just finished rebuilding the properties and correcting all the problems caused
