The Grandiosa is grand by name and nature!
The Grandiosa is grand by name and nature for sure! The ship is stunning and the staff are slick, professional and so hard working. There was entertainment is second to none and there are unlimited possibilities of what to do on board. The intinery is impressive and the buffet choice is amazing full of culinary delights. We booked a premium package but we’re let down by the allocation of just 1 restaurant on board with an unimpressive menu with small portions. We resorted to a buffet breakfast which was horrendously busy and noisy. We felt a strong sense of sales being aimed at us during the week and had to pay to see the shows. We ate at the speciality restaurants which were amazing but felt ripped off considering we had purchased a premium deal. The events were put on far too late (11.30pm) considering it is a family ship and my 15 yr old daughter was too tired too attendThe beds were very uncomfortable and I didn’t sleep well all week. We were promised a privacy screen in our family room which wasn’t present. The room was too small and I felt exhausted. My first and possibly last cruise 🚢
