Provided a financial lifeline when I really needed it
Because of my poor credit history, I had been really struggling to borrow any money without being charged an unbelievable APR. However, after my dad agreed to act as a guarantor for my loan, I submitted my application and was delighted with how quickly the loan offers started arriving and how good some of the deals were.
