Worst customer service I've ever experienced.
Ordered a $200+ Mystery cleat box. Received a Puma King Platinum 21. A 3 year old cleat that retailed for $199.99 and valued around $100 right now. Called in to customer service today and told them that the $199.99 cleat I received should have been in the $150-200 cleat box instead of $200+. Manager came on, i explained to him everything, and he told me nope this is correct. I told the manager that as a consumer, we would feel ripped off getting a 3 year old cleat that is selling for $100 right now. but Manager insists that $199.99 = $200+ so consumer would not feel ripped off. We argued about how I believe 199.99 is literally not $200+ and it is considered false advertisement but he said he only cares about his belief which is that 199.99 = 200. and will offer me a 1 cent refund. The very first customer service agent I contacted via email offered a $15 gift card but the manager today said "I will not give you anything". I only asked for a better gift card value to match the amount I overpaid so I can use it to buy something else in the future as a repeat customer. This manager is unprofessional, arrogant, and most importantly unempathetic. I believe he needs to be retrained on customer service because he obviously does not care about the lifetime value of a customer. I told him I will be posting this experience on social media and he said go ahead and that the call is recorded. I'm not sure how that's relevant but you guys can definitely use it for training purposes. He can stand his ground on his beliefs which is fine but this is definitely not the way to speak to a customer. Update for David : Order #: 0429699250 The supervisor of customer service and care called me and provided a $15 refund. I've also provided her the date and time of my interaction with the manager. I'm not sure if you guys will contact him and listen to the call recording but I think we can consider this matter resolved. thank you for your help
