Been a customer for years..UPDATED
Been a customer for years. Noticed the same as the others, the site is slow to load, operates the same as it did a decade ago, high prices, low features. We used to run a forum years ago and had unlimited emails, now we just want the email part but are told we have to have both, at great cost. We have 2 domains like this but we will be moving them to someone who can do what we need, instead of just collecting our money. Speaking of money one of our domains was showing it needed renewing, despite the payment having gone out some months before. Clicking "renew" got us taken to a standard page with no options. Go back to the start and it's asking for payment again. Well, stick your payment. UPDATE Just had a chat with a customer service agent on live chat. Apparently I have to upload my drivers licence, utility bills and other associated nonsense for them to gain further information on me just so I can have my account back. What's my ability to drive or not got to do with it. If I could just click on the "send password recovery email" and it actually send me an email instead of nothing, none of this would be necessary! I said to the CSA that printed bills as proof is very 18th Century, all my stuff is electronic thanks. "Well it's just our procedure I can't do anything else" I can. I can take my business elsewhere to someone that updates their system and actually cares. Good riddance Heart Internet. You were good. Back in the 18th Century. Edit to reply to RD You need photo card ID? You didn't need it when I registered, so how can you know for sure it's me? You don't know what I look like. I don't have a government gateway ID as I don't use it. Get your procedures up to date into the 21st century. I don't have time to faff about photocopying documents. Just take my payment for the lapsed hosting (which I couldnt pay as I couldn't get access), and automatically my account will begin working again won't it? Therefore saving hassle and time. You're welcome, I'm here all week. Honestly you make things so difficult,I just need a password reset email. EVERY company on existence offers this service, just not you. Any attempts to get a new reset password results in nothing being sent to the email address! EDIT 2: The next day My wife has started getting hundreds of emails addressed to different people flooding her inbox, and now for some reason I'm locked out of my other domain and now get "connection refused" errors. So this means both my domains and server packages I have with them are now useless and cannot gain access to them. Thanks Heart, I will continue to update everyone with your shenanigans.
