Reserve in advance?!
I joined because the idea of being able to book aires de camping car in advance appealed but only found out after going most of the way through the process, that I needed to pay extra for PACK'PRIVILÈGES and also that you can only book either more than three days in advance, of the morning of the day you wish to use the Aire. On the first site we used, the barrier wouldn't open and after using my UK mobile phone for 10 mins trying different codes the customer services person suggested, she finally offered to ring back. I asked for credit on my account to compensate for the cost of the call but to no avail. The next site in the scheme that we used, a person who'd put credit into his new account couldn't get his membership card to print, so he spent time trying to get through for help, costing him on his mobile phone too. Not impressed with the infrastructure. Sadly the two sites we used were very pleasant so it's a shame I probably won't take the risk of using again, too much hassle.
