Stay Far, Far Away – Unless You Need a Fancy Flower Vase
If I could give zero stars, I would. My girlfriend thought she was gifting me the joy of perfect espresso for Christmas—turns out, she gifted me four months of frustration, countless unanswered emails, and a very expensive flower vase. We ordered a La Pavoni Mini Cellini from CoffeeFriends.co.uk, and when it arrived, the water tank was already damaged. No big deal, right? Just a spare part away from caffeinated bliss. Wrong. So, so wrong. I contacted them immediately. They reassured me in early January that the replacement part would take 4-6 weeks. Guess what? It’s now mid-March, and I’m still waiting. I’ve been chasing them every single week, and their customer service is about as responsive as a broken espresso machine—which, ironically, is exactly what they sold me. Out of desperation, I reached out to the manufacturer in Italy. Their response? “Oh yeah, we think they ordered the part… but they never picked it up.” At this point, I had two options: 1. Continue waiting indefinitely while sipping imaginary espresso. 2. Cut my losses, buy a working machine from a different website, and salvage what’s left of my sanity. I chose option 2, and let me tell you—it feels great to finally drink coffee again. As for the La Pavoni Mini Cellini? It’s currently serving its only functional purpose: holding a flower vase. That’s right. A £1,000+ machine, reduced to glorified home decor. So, unless you’re looking for a very expensive and very useless piece of Italian metal to display in your home, do yourself a favor: avoid CoffeeFriends.co.uk at all costs. The customer service is abysmal, the communication is non-existent, and the experience is a one-way ticket to caffeine withdrawal and pure rage. Final verdict? CoffeeFriends.co.uk is neither coffee nor friends. Stay away. 🚨☕❌
