65% cancellation penalty on Zurich Vista
I signed up for the Zurich Vista policy a few years ago and soon after the policy started I realized the cost were absolute excessive. If I however now want to cancel they want to charge me a penalty of 65% (!) of my policy value. Neither of this was mentioned when I signed up. I gave Zurich the opportunity to look at my complaints and to change me to another plan but they were not interested. I have filed a case with the Dubai insurance authorities counting a total of 23 violations against the local regulations and I hope they will make a judgement soon. This review is meant to inform and protect other consumers, promoting a transparent economy in the UAE and globally. It is not meant to demean Zurich or any of its employees.
