Never again - the worst car rental company in Iceland in the last 23 years. Downgrade ohne Preisnachlass The Landcruiser costs 50% more than the Sorrento more on your homepage!!!! (see screenshot from your homepage) Toyota Landcruiser already booked in February 2024 for October 2024. Shuttle service delayed. Very long waiting time in the office. Got the wrong car even though it was booked 8 months in advance. A Kia Sorento is definitely a downgrade and not comparable, the difference in wading depth alone is 25 cm. No discount offer for the downgrade either, instead a free cancellation was offered - a joke considering the vehicle we booked would probably have cost twice as much if it had even been available from another rental company that day. Only with great emphasis, two days later the car was converted to the booked class. The planned route therefore had to be changed at short notice. We also covered the additional costs for this ourselves. The exchanged car then had an unwanted roof box, which was not removed even when asked. The result: noticeably increased fuel costs and an annoying whistle throughout the entire trip. After a day or two we got an AddBlue warning and had to refill it ourselves. At least the costs were reimbursed. The car was returned with an above-average waiting time and an overcrowded shuttle service. Sorry, definitely not a recommendation!!! Ergänzung: Ich werde für diese Bewertung nicht bezahlt und habe auch nicht die Hoffnung, vom Vermieter nachträglich eine Erstattung zu bekommen. Ein Kia Sorento ist ein nettes Luxus SUV, aber leider nicht vergleichbar mit der Geländegängigkeit eines Landcruisers. Das hat sogar Ihr Mechaniker im Beisein Ihrer Mitarbeiterin bestätigt. Über eine "Arctiv Edition" wurden wir nicht informiert, nur dass das Fahrzeug "modified" sei - Information in welcher Weise konnte uns die Mitarbeiterin nicht geben. Optisch hatte das Fahrzeug recht kleine Reifen mit geringem Profil und auch die Bodenfreiheit war nicht üppig. Auf die erhebliche Differenz in der Wattiefe bin ich schon eingegangen. Der Umstieg auf das eigentlich gebuchte Fahrzeug wurde nicht von Ihnen angeboten, sondern erst auf mehrfache Nachfrage meinerseits von Ihrer Mitarbeiterin zugebilligt. Das Entfernen des Dachkoffers wurde ebenfalls nicht angeboten. Im Gegenteil, ich habe mehrfach darum gebeten, aber Ihre Mitarbeiterin informierte mich, dass Ihnen das Abmontieren verboten sei. Ich wünsche allen zukünftigen Kunden, dass unsere Erfahrung nur eine Ausnahme war, die durch die Unterbesetzung und die daraus resutierende Überforderung der Mitarbeiterin entstanden ist.
