Customer service is a joke - literally

When I ordered the product I ordered extra to receive free shipping. What was only obvious after the fact was that hidden on some other FAQ was that shipping could take up to 7 weeks. They mail the shipment via USPS to another courier company for delivery. A week after my order I saw on their tracking that the shipment had not left yet. Apparently this is the company who receives it via the mail and they had not received it. When I phoned into customer service they told me to wait additional days before following up. 2 weeks later it was still not showing at the courier so I followed up again. They told me that the person who interacts with the courier was on vacation so I just had to wait until they could follow up. I followed up the next week and all they said is that they could reinitiate the shipment and I would have to wait a further up to 7 weeks to receive the product or they could issue me a refund. They would not even consider shipping me the product expeditated to make up for their incompetence. When I asked to escalate to a supervisor I was told the same thing and at the end of the call I heard laughing between the supervisor and their employee before they hung up, total disrespect for the customer.
