Just don't go.
You are their cash cow. It's just gross. If you're interested in history and culture, go alone, rent a car or something. The individual tour guides in the cities were great, the views were amazing. But that is not thanks to RSD. They brought us to a carpet factory, a jewellery factory and a leather factory. It was unbearable. The staff followed us around like hungry dogs pressuring us to buy something from them. When I say the prices were outrageous at these places, jesus believe me. They all use slave labour/VERY low paid labour and have useless products in these factories. If you have a moral conscious, do not buy from them, buy from people that treat workers well in your own country. I was sort of disgusted that we were brought there almost against our will. The guide was nice but for whatever reason (maybe low wages again?) the rsd guides were Turkish. I would have vastly preferred a Croatian or Serbian, I'm sure there enough people there looking for a job. You don't have time to see museums or to climb walls etc. You only have time to be milked of more money in the towns and in cafes. Some of the hotels are quite bad with cold food and annoying city taxes. You will be exhausted to the extreme with the early starts. I spent a large amount of the trip wishing to be left alone and not to be constantly pointed towards ATMs and the corpses of once beautiful cities that are now just big shopping malls.
