Superb 18-night cruise on Aurora
Just returned from an 18-night cruise in the Med on Aurora. Great ports esp Motril for Granada, but a shame P & O don't organise trips to the Alhambra Palaces. Managed to get there with good advice from the ship and "Granada on your own" tour guide. P & O are a very well-organised cruise line and the crew on any ship are friendly and helpful. But my favourite is Aurora: easy to navigate around, has the traditional Anderson's Bar and lovely terraced horseshoe-shaped aft decks. The storage solutions in our cabin were ingenious and we didn't need to use it all even though I take a lot. Decor is smart and tasteful everywhere on the ship, and the entertainment was the best we have ever seen on any cruise line. Guest speakers were really entertaining and Headliners Theatre Company were just superb. I hope P & O don't take this lovely ship out of service - she obviously has a great following with many passengers booking time and again. I admit most of us were older however....
