Not impressed with the price of work…
Not impressed with the price of work done. I needed new rotors and brake pads for my 99 Prado. Ended up paying a price of almost $1700. I don’t think it should have cost that much for that work. He arrived 10:45am and left at 3:30pm that’s not quite 5hrs. He left in that time to get parts and was gone for about 1hr 20mins. The mechanic then tried to tell me it was “pretty cheap really”. I have since called a few local mechanics and they are shocked that I had to pay that. I called Lube Mobile the day after and they put me through to the manager. He told me all the prices are right and they charge $197 an hour for labour. Not happy.
