I was on flight back from Turkey 2 weeks today with my husband an our son that has special needs I purchased a 2 sandwich and asked which drink can I have with the meal the air hostess said to me any so I asked for a coffee she asked me would you like a filtered coffee or a normal one I said filtered and they charged me an extra €12 so I called her back and said to her you charge me extra, so she refunded that money to me and then charged me again, but we had purchased some more stuff as well by then and she charge me an extra €15 again so I called back and she says well this menu that you’re picking from. It’s a domestic menu I said so why have you got this on international flight , she said we don’t have time to take them out which was a bit ridiculous and they kept on changing the air hostess to come to me to explain that we haven’t charged you extra on the international flight. These are the prices and also you’ve got a filtered coffee which is an extra charge. It clearly shows on the menu , and walked off, saying you can take it up with the head office, my husband’s like why would I take it up with a head office when you’ve charged me clearly I want my refund you would not let a penny off. She was being very rude. I’m just walking off so my husband started recording her and she started throwing a big fuss saying you can’t record me and went and told the pilot and then she came back to me and said she’s going to report me to the police as my husband was recording her, which I thought was very ridiculous and wrong to do this her to do that, and she did this to quite a few passengers being very rude to them as people had ordered food and drinks and were waiting over half an hour and started shouting so you should press the button for us to come to you to remind you basically shall I say, why should we do that when we make the purchase on our food when the trolleys come along we should expect to have to not waiting over half an hour for our stuff. so when the plane landed, the police were already there waiting for my husband to take for questioning as passengers were coming off the plane. They even spoke to the police and said the air hostess was very very rude towards a lot of people and they were charging extra for the food that we purchased and thankfully nothing was done about it and let my husband go just over. The charging us tried to get us in trouble and she had a very cheeky grin on her face as we were leaving the plane thinking that she is going to get my husband in a lot of trouble by the police all worked in our favour as my husband didn’t do anything wrong and the passengers helped us as well by telling the truth are very bad service experience we had don’t use them .
