Not a moving company...they are a broker
Coastal Moving Services is not a moving company—they are strictly a broker. They subcontract moves to third-party carriers—ours was handled by Loadrans LLC—leaving us with little control and communication after signing the contract. Despite providing detailed photos and accurate measurements of our furniture well in advance, the quote we received from Coastal was significantly underestimated. On moving day, the final cost ballooned to nearly three times the original estimate, with zero explanation. Because our move occurred on a Sunday, contacting the company was effectively impossible.
