Terrible overpriced old caravans and…
Terrible overpriced old caravans and bad support. We rented the small Jucy caravan 6 weeks in New Zealand and "Jucy Champ" 6 weeks in Australien. The first car in New Zealand had the following problems: Frontlight not working. No GPS as promised.... Old and having a hard time in general. Terrible support and help, long waiting times og often no help.. Kicthen sunk and we used a lot of time at the mechanic. We had a flat tire and had a lot of problems with Jucy trying to fix it. In total we used 76 min calling Jucy support, because of problems with the car, and in total we were on hold / waited 10-15 min each time to get through to the support. Second car in Australia had the following problems: No GPS included as promised. Old car, no accelerationpower so had a hard time getting over the hills. OK service at Jucy in Melbourne tho. The Penthouse (Tent on the roof) broke (Couldn't get it up or down) and we used a lot of time to try getting it fixed... They coulnd't fix it, so we had to drive all the way from Lakes Entrance (South east on the east coast) to Sydney without a working tent on the roof... Then in Sydney they were actually really nice and tried to help us, but they couldn't fix it as promised. They said we would get a new and smart car in Brisbane. So we had to drive even further all the way to Brisbane before they could fix it and we could switch to another car... In Brisbane we got the worst service possible. First of all the car wasn't ready and when we got the car it was as old and even worse than what we had. Despite frustration and disappointment we took the car (Had no other choice, we afterall lived in the car the whole trip) and after 1 km a light starting showing. We went back and they said the guy just said he couldn't do anything about it, there was no mechanic and we got told we "just had to hope for the best" (we were going all the way to Cairns, loooong way...) After a few days we noticed we used a lot of petrol, FAST... We used so much time on theese problem and first in Airlie Beach they helped us get to the mechanic where they said the car had a problem and was using double petrol.... They couldn't fix it and we drove with the petrol problem all the way from Brisbane to Cairns. They coudn't fix it and we ended in Cairns and delivered the car back. Even tho we got a small compensation for the problems and double use of petrol.. It was just not okay... The cars fridge didn't work either and many other small things... In total we used 141 min just in calls to Jucy in Australia, a lot of waitingtime and a lot of frustrations.. Won't recommend JUCY to anyone - DON'T GO JUCY.
