£45 call-out charge for an old vehicle
The £45 call-out charge for an old vehicle felt unjustified. Customer support was unhelpful and focused on upselling rather than resolving my issue. I advise others to be cautious and thoroughly read the terms before purchasing. It's disappointing to see profit prioritized over satisfactory service. BeSmart Utilities have UNFAVOURABLE terms on you once you've signed up via Groupon. They don't highlight any changes so I assume they just hope you won't notice (till you claim!) For example, the terms I was given when I purchased did not have an inception period, nor did it have a car age 10+ excess which was more than twice the policy cost per callout, and other things were different. When I pointed this out and gave them clear evidence they repeatedly tried to fob me off. Complain to company to resolve but no help and keep saying read terms before you Buy. They never highlight access charge at the point of buy policy. PLEASE CAREFUL FROM THIS COMPANY.
