Car left with watermarks and notched side mirror
I used IMO for the first time and appreciated several aspects: the pricing and wash options are clearly displayed, multiple payment methods are accepted, and the combination of hand wash, roller wash, and drying is a nice concept. The staff were polite and the process seemed efficient. However, I encountered a couple of issues that left me disappointed. I selected the Total Wax program, but when my car exited the tunnel, it was still noticeably wet. With a long queue of vehicles behind me, I didn’t feel comfortable returning to the staff to raise the issue. I wasn’t confident that my concern would be well received, and I wasn’t sure what they could have done anyway if the drying system wasn’t functioning properly. I drove home (just two miles away) with a wet car, and as expected, by the time I arrived, water spots had formed on the windows and bodywork. I had to re-rinse and dry the car myself to avoid further marking. In addition, my electric side mirror on the driver's side appeared to get notched during the wash. It still works, but now makes a different noise compared to the passenger's side, which suggests something may have been affected during the process. Unfortunately, this experience has put me off returning. Unless someone from IMO contacts me with a solution or explanation that restores my confidence, I don’t see myself using their services again.
