Form waiving our rights to any damage??
Great guys until they asked us to sign a waiver form in case they caused any damage to our house whilst delivering -said they would not bring the furniture in unless we signed the form -I objected and said I doubt the form was legal so they eventually brought our furniture in without me signing. Never, ever, had this before and will not be buying from Barker and Stonehouse again if they use this company. Thanks for your reply, but you should not be asking customers to waive their rights like this. Has a lawyer drawn up the form? I doubt it as it looked very unprofessional. I am contacting Trading Standards about it tomorrow Thanks for the further update, but our drive is huge and they pulled up on the drive right outside the door. We live in a very big open plan bungalow with wide doorways and access is so easy -it has to be for me as a wheelchair user. So are you saying they should not have asked us to sign the form as we had very easy access? Perhaps you will talk to the team who delivered to us then.
