Bye Bye Anaconda
Double bad by Anaconda; customer service failure compounded by their lack of accountability and integrity by refusing to publish an honest review because it highlighted their unprofessional business practices! Censorship of valid reviews is DISHONEST and says everything about the way a business operates! So to be very clear, I did buy, that is PAY for a kayak from Anaconda so my review does indeed meet their criteria that I am a paying customer who bought the reviewed item as confirmed by Anaconda emailing me an invitation to review the kayak. The fact that I never received the kayak, that I bought and paid for, is on Anaconda. Here is the review that Anaconda refused to publish preceded by feedback from an "anonmous" Anaconda censor: "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" "Bye Bye Anaconda I can't tell you about this kayak because Anaconda did not suoply it, yet they have sent me a request for a review so here it is ... I phoned Anaconda Albany twice to confirm they could hold the kayak for two weeks as a click and collect. Both times I was told yes and if there were any issues the store would phone me. Why two weeks? Because I wanted to secure the kayak at the discounted sale price so I needed to buy it before the sale ended but my appointment to have roof racks fitted so I could take it home was two weeks after the sale end date. One week after my purchase, Anaconda emailed me issuing 24 hours notice that the kayak payment would be refunded unless I collected the kayak next day. There was no phone call from the Albany store to alert me there was an issue. The payment was refunded before I had seen the email. So, what is the Seaflo kayak like? No idea. But the replacement kayak I bought through Baysports is excellent, as was Baysports' customer service."
