Abusive 20 year old Manager
Not even a one! 26/12/2020, 8.40am at Aldi Wattle Grove. My mother, whom I am writing on behalf of, went to the store and which there was a queue crowd assuming that Aldi stated opening time 8:30am. I joined the queue and spoke with a few people there who said that it seems like without no announcement of the opening. I waited with the crowd and speaking to some of them and noticed that there were staff in the store. Approaching 9.03am, I looked in and someone in the crowd called out to me "press the bell", which I did. With no response, a minute later I pressed it again and a minute later the door opened. As I was joining the queue, a staff member, a tall blonde (20 plus) guy called out to me that I shouldn't be pressing the bell, because they open at 9. I replied "There is no indication that it was so". I went into the liquor section and the same staff member was there and he said to me "If you are looking for liquor, there is none for sale today" and my mother questioned why. He replied "Because you created a nuisance" and asked me to leave the store. My mother asked who he was and he replied "The manager. And I can ask anyone to leave and if not, I will call the police". He virtually escorted my mother to the exit. My mother is sure that your cctv cameras would have picked up the incident with witnesses around.
