They made me pay for their pricing error
Travel Republic advertised a hotel at a price. I booked with them, paid the money, and they sent me document with a booking reference number which also said my bill was paid a full. A few days later they contacted me to say they made a “pricing error” and I had to either pay more money or cancel the booking. At that time, the price of the hotel was higher across all websites, so I had no choice but to pay the extra money to Travel Republic. It felt like extortion. I can’t understand why I had to suffer for their pricing error, particularly when I already paid a price. I read online this has been happening with them for years. I can never trust this agent again and strongly do not recommend them.
