Not happy
Today, I experienced shocking service at the Mona Vale store! What has happened with your once great customers service? No-one offered to help me whilst browsing for awhile. I used my own intuition but would have preferred to listen to professional advice. After 1/2 hour of procrastination & finding an aisle that wasn’t cluttered with stacks of boxes on trolleys waiting to be shelved, I proceeded to the checkout. Great, 1 staff member serving a customer with a lot to purchase. No other counters manned with staff busy on phones, computers & not one acknowledged me standing there with 1 bottle of wine (not my choice) I had an elderly lady come up to me whilst waiting who asked me advice on Red Wine as gifts as she had no idea. As I looked around at all the staff, not one even looked over at the checkouts to see if help was needed. I felt the staff very negligent & inattentive! When I asked a staff member that I just want to pay for my wine, she looked at me like I was taking up her time. No smile, didn’t ask if I was a member & also not offered a bag for the bottle. What has happened at your Mona Vale store? Customer Service is very important, connect with customers, know your product & smile...it’s not that hard!
