Deceitful Marketing Practices

Incredibly disappointed by this company. As other reviews has said, there are no email comms to state they will auto renew your subscription other than at checkout (which you would have completed 6 months or 12 months ago if you have a long term subscription). When your initial subscription ends, there is no communication that it is your last box and they will auto renew automatically unless you navigate through their confusing portal to cancel your membership. Support is unwilling to help you as they state “refunds can’t be processed once payment has gone through the system”, even if your payment is in pending in the bank. I am a marketer myself, I’m very disappointed to see these kind of deceitful marketing practices being used. Operational email comms are common, use them! You come across as a very money hungry company otherwise. EDIT: After some back and forth with customer service (in which they first offered me a coupon), I got a full refund. I still think this is something that shouldn’t have to be fought for, but I have to give the credit in that they did eventually agree after some persuasion - although clearly the claim they can’t do refunds after the payment is processed isn’t true.
