A joke of a company
Honestly it is quite laughable how badly their service is. It took over 8 weeks for them to get my medical notes from my GP practice, I then had to continuously go back and forth with my GP just to get it for them. Surprisingly you’d think that’s something they would do since I pay over £50 per month. They then denied my claim because I had one symptom, among a multitude of symptoms, which I’ve had before. Their customer service pretend to be helpful but are actually inept at their jobs. You’d be better off going with the NHS or another private insurance company. Also their response time is horrendous. I would send them an email on monday and would not receive a reply until friday and that’s if I send another email alerting them to having already not replied to my first. Please save yourself the stress, anxiety and anger of trying to make a claim with them. They are happy to take your money but make a claim and you’re waiting for 8 weeks for them to hand over your information to their underwriters. They also seems to have no sympathy at how difficult it can be when you’re going through a serious health issue and constantly having to follow up with them to make sure that they’re doing their job, which you PAY THEM to do btw. It’s really unfortunate because I though I had found a quality private insurance with affordable prices, but I guess that’s my fault for assuming that. I will now need to pay privately out of my own pocket (over £2k) for the urgent treatment I need after waiting 9 weeks because I thought they’d be able to help me. I will also be cancelling my policy with them and going with an actual health insurance company like Bupa or vitality. I would strongly suggest you do the same!!!
