Not the best experience so far
Purchased from groupon. The product details of the premium membership I first purchased did not match the details on BeSmart website so canceled the groupon voucher and bought the basic version. I had to ring their customer care as the sign up webpage ended without asking for my start date and gave them my start date over the phone. I received my membership details in a poorly formatted email with an error on the start date. I personally thought the membership detail letter to be just a note than a properly formatted policy letter and not clearly giving details on Period of membership, membership details, benefit level and any endorsements, vehicle details, cover conditions and claims procedure - all not well written on it (other than a broad pdf attachment of their terms and conditions) which I have found on all other breakdown policies that I have. I guess I am comparing with all the other breakdown policies I have purchased in the past years and this one has a long way to go before (atleast in my experience/opinion) would be of any comparison to them. I sent customer care an email with this feedback and they send me an email apologizing for the error but have not bothered to send me a corrected email, but then also asked me in the email what I was expecting. I have not had to make a claim and hope I never have to, but then who knows they might surprise me with a good service if I am unfortunate enough to breakdown and need to use them. Having said that the sign up process has not inspired much confidence in them so far. I think at the end of the day you get what you pay for - this was a cheap policy (under £10) bought from groupon so I guess I shouldn't expect much - so I think its within their right to ask what I was expecting. Hope I never have to use the service.
