Cheap but NOT cheerful!
Booked a Corolla and received a lower grade Aqua that had rear end damage. They did not come out to show us the car, so I went back in to report it. Advised they knew about it and we wouldn't be charged. Didn't notice as we drove out, but by day two the rattle from the rear end was constant. Tried to change the car in Wellington but only have Auckland office, so had to put up with it for two weeks! Returned car at 5.35pm prior to office closure at 6, to be advised we had missed the last shuttle and would have to pay for our own taxi. Refused to call us a taxi or refund anything for lower level, damaged car. In addition, on arrival waited almost an hour for their shuttle and fair distance from airport, so lost driving time on first day. They are rude and arrogant, with no customer service care, we will never use them again. Lesson learnt - pay a little more and use a reputable car rental company.
