SCAMMISH if not actually a scam
UPDATE: After 3 attempts to get my refund, they finally refunded HALF of the SECOND charge. While this is better than nothing, you should be aware their "refund policy" lists almost every scenario as not refundable, and doesn't say anything about PARTIAL refunds. I would not use this company again nor recommend them based on my experience. Also, I'm in the U.S. if that makes a difference. ORIGINAL REVIEW: No star if that was possible. I paid initial fee to unlock my daughter's phone. THEN it appears that was only to check if they COULD unlock it and now have a bigger fee to actually do it. Paid that, waited a week, then find out no refund until they've tried 30 days. Okay, I know the phone is still active and not lost or stolen and completely paid for so no reason that they can't unlock it that is an "out" for them in refunding. I wait the 30 days and request a refund. Oh, they still had costs associated so can only offer a 1/2 refund. Doesn't say THAT in the refund policy, but okay I guess half is better than nothing. I wait the time they said it would take to receive it. You guessed it, no refund. I emailed AGAIN, they had a system glitch on refunds but this time they are *manually* entering it, please wait 4-5 business days. Well here we are again. I replied again today that I STILL don't have my refund. I suppose I need to give up on getting a lousy partial refund and just learn from my experience that SOMETIMES SCAMMERS LOOK VERY LEGIT. Don't use this service. If you can't or don't have time to have the carrier unlock your phone, buy a newer already unlocked phone that will work on your carrier from a reputable store.
