Hypocritical Company
They claim to be non-profit. Why are they having the ability for users to donate money, then? So much for non-profit when money is being made regardless. They claim their goal is "universal access to all knowledge". Why are they doing copyright strikes on accounts uploading content illegally, then? So much for access to all knowledge when illegal content gets removed. They claim to be open-source. Why are they making it hard to access books and videos, then? So much for open-source. All of these things and their lack of letting users delete their own media are why I am not supporting Internet Archive anymore. It used to be better when users were allowed to delete their own media. But now, it's become a hypocritical company with lies and giving users less power to control their uploads. I would not recommend this site to pirates, journalists exposing government documents illegally, and people wanting full power over their uploads. Internet Archive's administrators are deleting uploads that expose corrupt governments without uploaders' permission. So, Internet Archive is not a safe haven for journalists who expose war crimes billionaires cause for the New World Order. Which is why journalists are having to use the dark web for uploading their content that exposes war crimes. At least Internet Archive does not have C.P. But saying their goal is access to all knowledge is a lie. Otherwise, uploaders would be allowed to upload C.P. Which would be disgusting.
