Background check process was thorough but slow
Getting vetted took 11 days, which felt long when I was eager to start taking handyman jobs. I understand they're thorough — and clients definitely respond positively to the verified status — but a progress tracker in the app would reduce the anxiety of just waiting with no updates. Once cleared, onboarding was smooth.
