Find someone else to clean your home!
We booked a one off deep clean following a couple of building projects, specifying that we wanted furniture moved and cleaned underneath, all woodwork washed down, all surfaces and lights cleaned. The team notified us at 9pm the night before that they wouldn't arrive until midday (for a 9am booking) and then they didn't arrive until 12.30pm. The work they did was OK - but what is really important to note is the work they didn't do - but should have done ... They did not move the settees and hoover underneath them They did not wash the hard floors They did not wash down the tiles in the bathrooms and toilet They did not clean the top of the kitchen cabinets They did not clean the sinks They did not dust behind the radiators or any items of furniture. They did not properly clean the light fittings. In advance, they also made us clear all the surfaces in the rooms we wanted cleaned - ornaments, photos, books everything - which took me the best part of the day to do the whole house and meant we had to store all our possessions in one of the bedrooms - so they didn't clean that at all. They charged £387 for a four bedroom house. It is not good value for money. I would suggest you find another organisation if you are looking for someone to clean the house you live in - and looking at some of the reviews, I'd also suggest a different organisation if you are looking for someone to clean at end of tenancy. Very disappointing all round. Edited after reading the reply - I didn't bother to send photos because we didn't want to waste more time waiting for a reclean to be booked with all our stuff in boxes in the spare room! We had already cleaned under the settees ourselves before I put the complaint in. Its just not a service designed for homes that are being lived in and the fact that the team just didn't clean what we contracted them to clean destroyed our faith in the service - so we took it as a very expensive lesson learned - find another cleaner to help you!
