Wait until you have to claim

We’ve been with frontier home insurance for over two years now and all was ok until we had to claim. They have no call centre so you are totally unable to speak to anyone for advice on your claim. The material on their website is not clear and we found ourselves going in circles. Once we’d eventually raised a claim we had insanely long and drawn out email conversations with agents at frontier that were unhelpful and uncooperative. Once our claim was accepted it was handed over to a third party claims company. It’s taken over 6 months for the damage to our house to be resolved. The actual damage took two days to repair. All the time in between was wasted. We ended up paying 90% of the cost to repair and replace items ourselves.
