Timeshare was a HUGE Mistake, Treating loyal customers AWFULLY
We are timeshare owners and we feel utterly stuck with this thing. After being lifetime Marriott Platnium Elite members and very loyal customers for years and years, Marriott’s sales reps lured us into this trap with an offer for a $199 Vegas stay last July. While there we were subjected to an unbelievably manipulative presentation that we were tricked into agreeing to thanks to some VERY shady behavior. They kept us there for hours and never once told us this was a timeshare, they called it “Vacation Ownership” instead. They pretended like they gave us some big discount, but now we are saddled with high costs that are unmanageable on our fixed income. We’d spent nearly 1000 nights with Marriott before getting dragged into this timeshare, but the horriffic experience of being tricked into this and the uncooperative customer support from the financial services team has been heartbreaking to us. We just wanted to undo this mistake we were unfairly pressured into making, but so far no one has been any help in letting us out of this timeshare to rectify our dire situation.
