DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE! I cannot state how strongly I would advise against using SriLankan Airlines. The aircraft fleet is very old and is falling into disrepair, and the levels of cleanliness are questionable to say he least. As an example, on our flights one of the toilets was unusable due to a blockage, and the the floor of the toilets that were available were littered with paper towels and toilet paper for the duration of the flights. The quality of the entertainment systems was laughable... Either we had no picture, no sound or both! It was clear that many other passengers were experiencing the same problems. Cabin crew would simply reset/reboot the system and when the problem remained would simply shrug their shoulders and say there was nothing more they could do. 10+ hour flights with no entertainment is excrutiating!! It seems to me that SriLankan Airlines are cutting many corners to save money. I'm really concerned about what else they might be scrimping on!! It would almost be acceptable if the flight prices were incredibly cheap, but they are not! In fact, several times before travelling, we we're invited to pay extra to reserve seats, etc. DON'T! If you are considering flying to Sri Lanka, I recommend using ANY other airline but SriLankan Airlines!
