So far the experience is not going…

So far the experience is not going well. Product ordering and delivery was all good (delivery drivers are excellent). But on putting together one of the pieces was drilled incorrectly, so it doesn't fit together. Another has white spray paint marking (looks like factory residue from where something else was being painted), which shouldn't be there. The paint marking will be on the inside so not a massive issue, but not ideal. So I call them on a Saturday to say a part is faulty. They say I need to email them. So I email them. By Thursday not heard anything, so chase them by phone. Have a very confusing call with a lady who's saying I need to circle the issue on the photo (seems some confusion, they needed me to circle the part on the instructions and take a picture of that). Call then taken over by a very helpful guy, but they can't ship me a new piece, until I package up the faulty piece and take a picture of it. As the faulty piece is holding together the unit, and I wanted to do a straight swap I now need to do more dismantling, package the item, take a photo, all to get a replacement for a faulty part! For the paint marking they have offered to resolve with some compensation, which we will discuss. But I just wanted it right in the first place
