Home Detail’s lack of Care
I have given them time to respond and with no response, I have resorted to posting this due to the lack of care and response from Home Detail and their Customer Service. I made an order for a bed and with such price should expect quality and comfort. However, my bed was not fit for purpose. I have images to prove this. 1. The headboard had broken after a having it put together and slept in for a few nights and had actually caused me to hurt myself when attempting to lean on it. 2. The bottom panel came broken, probably during Transit 3. The mattress I have does not exceed the recommended size to allow for the headboard to fit (so that rules out that the headboard is broken due to a too big of a mattress 4. The centre piece does not even align when the gas lift (surface of bed) comes down to rest which caused the bed to be unstable/rocky. I contacted Customer service, however, after a few weeks of conversation, they could only offer a £35 refund + replacement of the damaged parts. Since this offer, i had replied and have not heard back… This is awful behaviour especially from an online retailer, the offered refund is ridiculous as the bed is clearly not fit for purpose. This is utterly frustrating and Home Detail should be doing better to satisfy their customers, especially first time buyers. I would much appreciate a response from the company or to talk to a manger.
