Southall Travel booked a wrong room…
Southall Travel booked a wrong room type for me. I had asked their agent(Sammy) specifically for a ocean view room and not a partial ocean view room. The agent confirmed in an email to me that it is not partial ocean view. And now I find that partial ocean view room is booked. When I asked her about it, instead of accepting the mistake, I was blamed saying ocean view was agreed by me. When I forwarded their own email to them, of course no reply. I agree mistakes can happen but don't blame the customer when they aren't wrong. That has left a bad taste with me. Previously I have had good experience with Southall Travel and hence I booked the holiday with them this time. But I guess, I kept my eggs in the wrong basket P.S. Southall Travel made amends to the above. They got in touch with me. Listened to what I was saying. On reading the emails, understood the oversight on their part. And agreed to the mistake. This shows character as a company. Not everyone accepts their mistake. They also moved me to my original requested room (complimentary). They didn't need to do it but they did it. Thanks.
