Left in July, still no refund
I left Economy Energy in July 2018, it took me until August and November to receive my final bills and they owe me ~£575. After hours on the phone and constantly being told 'it is being progressed' I have still not received a penny of my money back and now I read they could be in financial difficulties and if they ultimately fold I will be entitled to nothing. The customer service is atrocious as I was the one who had to ring and chase for the final bills to be generated and when I tried to chase my refund I was constantly told I had to wait as there was no way they could contact the department that dealt with the refunds as they had no phone number to ring, simply an email. I would highly recommend avoiding this company, as any cost saving you could make in your energy prices is simply not worth the hassle you could receive in my opinion.
