Turned up a day late and damaged
Great automated communication but the driver was awful. The sofa I bought was picked up at 4 and I live less than 2 hours away from the address. I tried contacting the driver multiple times as I started to get worried. At 10pm I get a message to say they are on their way and will arrive at 1am!!!!! We agree he would come at 8am the next day instead and he didn’t turn up until 3pm. The sofa was not protected in the van, it turned up with black marks on it and smelling like smoke. When I raised this to porta they said “this is outside of our control” and gave me £20 refund. Awful!
