When I logged into my online banking today, I noticed two separate payments of £15.35 and £4.99 were taken by direct debit by 247 Home Rescue. I quickly checked my regular direct debit payments. And there it was ! Unknown to me, two separate Direct Debits under the same name 'VP Collections Limited' I never authorised these direct debits so, very quickly I cancelled them. I demand my money back !! Dear 247 Home Rescue, how and why did you do this. In the eyes of the Law this is a crime. Obviously I have informed my bank about this and they have now blocked you from accessing my bank account. You must look into this with priority and find out who, from your company did this. And, let me know the outcome of your own investigation. If I don't hear from you within next 14 working days I will raise this up with the Financial Ombudsman and report to the Police. I posted the above yesterday 16/06/2025. Today 17/06/2025 Home Rescue responded by asking me to provide the reference numbers of the payments. As they didn’t provide me with an email address for my reply I am writing the refence numbers here. From my bank statement it showing as follows: (1) £4.99 DDR HE728282 and (2) £15.35 DDR HE728281 Now that Home Rescue got the information they asked for can I please reiterate my complaint from yesterday.
