Ordering wasn't easy but product highest quality.

This was my 3rd time ordering from Hoover Fence Co. and prior times a few years back were far superior experiences. It would seem the representative assisting me this time was more desirous of merely taking an order rather than understanding and identifying parts for our needs based on our concept, drawings and dimensions provided to her to help us and assure us we were ordering what was needed to successfully complete our project. There was a considerable period of head-butting, but ultimately got it figured out with the representative thankfully being helpful and the end product we consider high quality so we are pleased, even though there was some confusion on delivery also which may be somewhat out of their control. It was also shocking - the high cost of shipping and on a prior order, alternate shipping was thankfully priced out and used with a considerable savings to us and much appreciated. I passed that on to this representative but she adamantly refused to consider that, happily dumping it on me telling me I would be provided with pallet size and weight to find my own alternate shipping options. Just thinking to myself not very customer friendly and I rather wondered if this person was new on the job because on the whole project she really could not understand our basic intentions even with simple and clear drawings and I got upset with her thinking she really was not trying, even letting her know rather bluntly really, hoping she would ask someone for help. As to final shipping initially I was told the carrier would call the day before to arrange delivery, then I saw they used Fed Ex as the carrier (and I don't think they offer ANY personalized service like that) plus the link Hoover emailed to track linked to DHL which was frustrating and a bit bizarre. Then the sub-carrier to receive our order through Fed EX locally at a mid-point depot was unexpectedly closed the day they were to receive it delaying our delivery and I had to initiate a phone call to Fed Ex to find out what was going on for Plan B as I was stressed to have received an email that delivery could not be made because consignee was closed - and not working in the freight/carrier area a lot, that was confusing and stressful, to me but a few phone calls got it straightened out and product got delivered. Had to micro-manage a good bit in our own self interest when prior orders with them were really wonderful all around.
