I had a bad experience with Nordina…

I had a bad experience with Nordina Home buying a standing desk. It is manually adjustable and the images and videos on the website show the height changing with relative ease and only a few movements of the crank. The reality is very different and it takes 1-2 minutes of furious winding to change the height of the desk. Is it more suitable to small adjustments to get the height just right than for actively going between seating and standing positions multiple times per day. Customer services completely disinterested and could not understand why I was not happy with this outcome or why the information on their website could be misleading. Apparently the images of the product are just illustrative and should not be taken into consideration when purchasing the desk. Nordina Home refused to take responsibility for this so I had to escalate to my credit card company. Thankfully I purchased with Amex and not debit card or I would be stuck with either a standing or a seated desk and no way out of it. Be wary of the five star reviews too. Nordina Home offers a discount after purchase for a five star review before you actually receive your product. I fell for this too, left a good review of my shopping experience (not the product!) and never even received the discount.
