Empathy required
I recently made my first purchase with this company and, unfortunately, made an error during the ordering process. I had intended to take advantage of the "10 bows for £10" offer, but due to the demands of parenting two young children, a demanding job, and other distractions, I inadvertently failed to apply the necessary promotional code at checkout. I fully acknowledge that this was my oversight. However, upon realizing the mistake, I promptly contacted the company to see if the issue could be rectified. I was informed that no adjustments could be made. While I understand that the error was mine, I question the logic of requiring a promotional code after a customer has already clearly indicated their intent by selecting the "10 for £10" offer on the website. This additional step feels unnecessarily cumbersome, particularly for first-time customers. Regrettably, based on this experience, I do not intend to use this company again. While customer service did respond, the interaction lacked empathy, flexibility, or any genuine effort to assist a new customer, which is disappointing
