Teladoc Convenient - Providers Not So Good
I like Teladoc because it is convenient, but the quality of providers is not consistent. I recently had two horrible providers. One, a Nurse Practitioner for an infection (Sakeena Spencer), who was late to my appointment, had a terrible web connection and did not explain any side effects of the medication she prescribed, which was written in her aftercare summary. In her summary, she stated she explained everything, and she DID NOT. She rushed me, and the appointment was a total of 5 minutes. The other provider was a mental health professional (Robin Rudic) who was late to every appointment and talked about herself for the majority of my sessions with her. To top it off, she cut me off completely when I had to reschedule an appointment last minute due to a family emergency I had. Last I knew, it wasn't ethical to just cut off a mental health patient. So yeah, Teladoc is convenient, but my experience with their providers has not been good. I will use them again, though, hoping the quality of the provider is better.
