A nightmare! Overbooking? Rejected 65min before departure
A nightmare! We have booked a trip via LTur with my family (5 people) Desination to Playa del Carmen with a departure from Frankfurt with Discover Airlines. We arrived two hour 20 min ahead of the departure. After 1 hour 20 of queue to reach the Discover Arilines desk, guess what, we were told it was too late (65min before the departure)!! No warning, no indication, only 2 desks open, we even asked in the queue and were told to wait as everyone. As we were only with small luggage we asked to board directly but got the same answer. It really smell like they are overbooking!! We finally had to purchase 5 tickets via Condor a little later, Condor accepted us and registered us 50 min ahead of the departure and had to pay 4500€ to reach our holiday place. Really bad experience.
