Deciding to sell my house after 29 years, the only home my children had known was hard. I had received James’s letter mail shot in 2023 and kept it in my work bag. He rang a couple of times and I invited him round reluctantly as I’d already made a decision. However, straight away James was more positive about my home which was not in the best condition due to my son’s business and gave us ideas of how to increase our chances of a sale. Two weeks later we had an open day with 28 booked viewings, all turning up. After discussions, we secured a sale higher than the asking price and James kept me involved all through the process, attending visits by the buyer for measuring etc. Matters started to go array and the day before we had wanted to complete, the buyer pulled out. I was so upset and stressed by this but James was great. This was a Thursday and by the Sunday he was hosting another open day with 15 viewings. Again, he secured a sale but there were issues and the buyer wanted some work completing after the survey which James negotiated and we finally completed our sale on 28th August. I cannot recommend James and his team, Luana, enough for all the work they did and responding to my text messages and emails at all times and over the weekend. He is always positive in his attitude and his focus is the sale, he makes you feel that you are his only customer.
