Charlotte Clewes [senior associate] and Grace Mullis [solicitor] were my family law legal team based at Irwin Mitchell Birmingham offices. Throughout my case both were most professional providing clear, prompt advice and guidance. I also noted Grace sometimes corresponded before or after her usual weekday working hours. My solicitors only raised relevant and proportionate matters in an attempt to reach a fair settlement in an efficient manner as possible . Under Charlotte's supervision, to save on costs and where appropriate, Grace undertook much of the work and preparation, including for Court and the Final Hearing. This system worked well and the I/M monthly invoices were detailed, clear and concise. Charlotte's experience led to the superb recommendation of Rhiannon Lloyd [4pb] , representing me at Final Hearing . The whole process has been very emotionally traumatic but in a cost proportionate manner, both Charlotte and Grace have been very supportive. At the start and end of proceedings ,the firm has offered me complimentary counselling with an inhouse professional - something I may now consider. It was clear with her calculations that Charlotte had a good understanding of NHS pensions and both solicitors were able to provide me with accurate information about PSO and timeframes. Based on my personal experience, I have no doubts about recommending Irwin Mitchell as an instructing firm .
