Outstanding Customer Service
It's all about the customer service, folks! Let's face it, no one looks forward to navigating the car insurance maze, me included, and their premiums are about what I expect across the board, when comparison shopping. However… The customer service team at Sterling sets them apart. It’s a given that most customer service staff are welcoming and helpful when you're considering coverage, but Sterling is responsive, knowledgeable and helpful when you really need them. Whether making a claim, reporting an incident or, most recently, managing the process of updating my coverage for renewal, the customer representatives are always friendly, helpful and patient. Lesley, in particular, went above and beyond when I had questions about certain types of coverage - even pointing out where the coverage I was considering might be unnecessary in our case, or might overlap with other types of cover I already have in place. With finances a bit tight, I appreciated her going above and beyond to help identify what cover would best suit our situation and our budget. Thanks again, Lesley! I am pleased with the actual cover, as well, having had one non-fault incident quickly taken care of. It's just nice to see some helpful, old-fashioned customer service, too.
